About CCTV

Chicago Classroom TV is a project of the Chicago Instructional Technology Foundation (CITF). CITF is a non-profit corporation that delivers Chicago Classroom TV's programming via an EBS system. CITF also sponsors the Chicago Youth Film and Video Festival.

CCTV is able to offer its main service that of delivering educational programs via an educational cable system, as a fully funded grant so that Chicago area schools are able to take advantage of this service free-of-charge. CCTV broadcasts these programs for member schools to tape and inventory as school resources. Both teachers and students may use them in classrooms, as well as for independent study or home viewing. All of CCTV's Programs run commercial-free and are selected by a group of dedicated educators. FREE educational programming.
