Program Taping and Resource Information

Monthly Mailings

Each month you will receive our contact mailing that will include programming schedules and resources connected to that month’s programming.

Teacher Guides

Teacher guides are available for most series. Sometimes they are available free on the internet. Please contact your coordinator to check for availability and to order guides. If you need assistance with placing an order, please call the coordinator in your area.

Policies Regarding the Taping of these Programs

All of the distributors have agreed to allow schools to tape these programs directly from our broadcasts and keep the tapes in your school library in order to be used in your classrooms free of charge for as long as we retain the licenses for those programs.

1 Year

If the type of license noted near the title of a series is "1 year", the program has been licensed for 2007-8. Schools have the right to tape and use these programs at any time throughout the year that we hold the license. If in any year we decide not to renew the rights to any program, we will notify your school in writing that you are required to erase the program.

Perpetual Rights

If the type of license noted near the title of a series is "Perpetual Rights", we hold the rights to the programs for the life of the tapes. The schools can keep their tapes of these programs for the "life of the tape." We can transmit these programs until the master tapes in our library fail to work.
